The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it is actually alarmed with regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service level designed for intervention ordeals a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who here go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise read more much more resources to enable the servicing of all customers and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
